Peak season $12900 Located in Victoria's Western District the majestic Naringal Station offers the perfect luxury experience, in rustic surrounds, for anyone seeking a relaxed countryside getaway. Established by the Rowe family in 1841, the homestead is situated in the heart of one of Victoria's oldest working properties and offers guests an immersive farming experience filled with elegance and history. Set over 2200 rolling hectares, the generous estate is now privately owned by fourth generation farmers and has something to offer for a broad range of visitors on their next regional adventure. The original homestead site by the creek was thought to be built in the late 1840's. The original slab hut has been rebuilt and remains a landmark today along with the family cemetery that was first used in the 1860's and is still operating today. The double brick homestead (c.1904) has since been completely renovated. It is situated on the highest point of the property with incredible views across the district. The homestead comprises of seven bedrooms (4 king, 2 queen,1 room with 3 singles). Each bedroom has their own split system for heating and air-con. Each room also has their own modern bathroom. The sprawling homestead has a large drawing room, study, dining room with butler’s modernised kitchen and playroom for the children. The playroom has a fold away couch that sleeps 2. The laundry is next to the playroom which also has a marble bathroom. The homestead has sufficient heating though out the whole home. The main living area is a part of the kitchen, it has an incredible fireplace which you can enjoy with a glass of red! The main kitchen has a traditional 4 oven Aga (converted to electricity) and a large falcon, enough ovens to whip up a country feast or fine dining extravaganza! Fine catering is available on request. The luxurious homestead is set in a famous Edna Walling designed garden with a modern touch. It has a tear shaped pool, diving board and spa (solar and gas heated). The pool house is an incredible entertaining area. It comprises quality ceiling speakers inside and out with ability to control indoor and outdoor volumes - plug in anything with a headphone jack ( ipads, ipods, phones, etc…) There is also a mod grass tennis court with lights. BYO Racquets and balls. There are countless possible other activities at Naringal Station: Trout Fishing in the huge dams. BYO lines, tackle and bait. Spectacular walks along the Naringhil Creek Bike riding along the vast laneways of the property. BYO Bikes and helmets. Visit the large woolshed and shearer’s quarters Visit the original old slab hut and cemetery Naringal Station is a magnificent property, you will never forget your experience! LOCATION: Wallinduc, Victoria. 160km Melbourne, 45km Ballarat (Sovereign Hill), 100 km Geelong and close to the famous Great Ocean Road. Approx. travel time from Melbourne CBD, 1 hour and 45 mins. A minimum of 2 nights is required. Book 2 nights in off season, 3rd is free.
