Swimming and water park is available across the lake at Independence Lake County Park, there are row boats and paddle boats for rent, disc golf, bike trails. Our lake side is private for our family. There is a great walkway to our ponds across the road from our house, it is a great spot for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Lyft picks up from apartment, Uber and Lyft will drop off. The entrance to the park is about 2 miles down the road you can swim, fish, rent a boat or paddle boat, etc. You're always welcome to use the walkway to the ponds, there are two chairs out there and it's a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. There is the lake on one side, ponds and woods on the other side. I love living in the country but with neighbors close by. A car is the best way to get around when staying at our house . We are out in the country, Lyft and Uber service this area, but it might take awhile to get a car. Lyft and Uber will pick you up and bring you back to our home from cities.
