A charming studio with kitchen, modern bathroom, and pillow-top queen-sized bed—perfect for a Central Coast getaway whether wine tasting, hiking Montaña de Oro State Park, visiting beaches, exploring Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo County. Quiet 320 square foot space on the back half of the lot away from the street. The studio has a 3/4 bath, kitchen, and deck. We lived in it while remodeling. Please note that, aside from coffee, milk, and sugar, we do not supply other grocery items for cooking and food preparation. Also, the studio does not have a TV so, if you're devoted to a program you can't miss, be sure to bring your own viewing device. As the studio is separate from the main house, it has its own entrance. The gate from the driveway to the backyard makes it easy for guests to come and go on their own. We're easy going people. Do you need a recommendation on a place to eat or things to do? We're happy to help you get the most out of your Central Coast visit. This is the perfect space for guests who need peace and quiet and only want to interact when checking in and checking out. From the right spot on the driveway you get a peek at the bay and, when the surf's up at night, you can hear the ocean pounding the shore and the fog horn blowing. Montaña de Oro State Park is one mile down the road and a hike over the hill. Morro Bay is a bird sanctuary so break out the Sibley's. Honestly, 20 years has not been enough to discover all the cool parts of this place: we love it here and know you will, too. About a mile from groceries, library, and restaurants 12 miles from the 101 and San Luis Obispo (Amtrak, airport & car rental) 4 miles from Highway 1 and Morro Bay (local bus) 4 directions of great road rides (bike) 1 mile out from decent mountain biking
