A superb, spacious light and airy single storey three bedroom cottage with a sleek and contemporary Scandi-style interior with pale wooden hand crafted furniture and colourful furnishings. Helgon Lodge's rather modest exterior belies its stunning, stylish interior. Located in a quiet road in this pretty North Norfolk coastal village, this wonderful holiday retreat offers well-equipped, comfortable accommodation and a very warm welcome at any time of year. The generous light-filled sociable and relaxing open-plan living area overlooks the pretty courtyard garden; the sitting area has a fully glazed wall - just slide back the doors and bring the outside in. This is a perfect space for families and friends of all ages to enjoy time together. Beyond the sitting area is a small study/snug with desk, an ideal spot for catching up with a favourite book, or work - if you must! There are three really good sized bedrooms (a king size, double and twin) and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The West facing garden is totally enclosed, and a real sun trap for catching those warm Norfolk rays. For little ones, there is a small children's play area in the garden with a Wendy house and sandpit to keep them happy. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Helgon Lodge, but asked to respect house rules. Conveniently situated just a few minutes' walk away from the heart of the village where you will find a well-stocked village store, and the popular Ship Inn, which serves good food all day. The beach and coastal path is a fifteen minute walk or just a two minute drive down to the beach car park. The Coasthopper bus service runs through the village throughout the year, and stops at all the coastal villages from Cromer to Kings Lynn. Additional Information: Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). All Ground Floor Accommodation: Entrance hall A well lit and handy space for leaving coats and boots. An inner door leads into Open-plan L-shaped living space Kitchen / dining area A good sized bespoke fitted kitchen with hand made contemporary pale wooden units with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher. To the side of the kitchen, there is a separate dining area with a beautiful oak dining table and six high backed chairs. Sitting room area One wall is fully glazed with sliding doors that lead in the garden. There is a colourful and very comfortable large C-shaped sofa, seating up to seven, and two leather armchairs. A wall mounted television and DVD player can be turned to both the dining and seating area, as you wish! At the far end of the sitting area, there is a very handy quiet space with desk, ideal if you need to work or study. An inner hallway leads to Master bedroom A really spacious room with king-size bed, plus a small sofa, television and DVD player and views over the front garden. En-suite shower room With large shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Bedroom two With a double bed, wash basin, television and DVD player and views over the rear courtyard garden. Bedroom three With two full-size single beds and views of over the front garden. Family bathroom With modern white suite comprising a stunning, freestanding double ended bath, wash basin and WC. There is a separate shower cubicle. Outside: The main garden is to the back of the house. Sunny, West facing and fully enclosed, the garden is part walled, with lawn, shrub borders and patio with table and chairs, and barbecue. At the back of the garden is a utility shed which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. For little ones, there is a playhouse, sand pit, children's furniture and chalk board. The front garden has enough room to park two cars. There are small trees and shrubs along with fencing providing privacy to the front of the cottage.
