The house comfortably accommodates 6 guests, with 2 private wings of the home. Excellent WiFi for remote working. Great cell phone service. Guests have access to the entire home and property. There is a small pond and walking trail on the property. During the summer months you can use the private in-ground pool and private tennis court, with breath-taking views. You can also kayak or swim at the local lake, Queechy Lake, which is 1 mile away. Numerous amounts of nearby hiking trails and famous Mt. Greylock. Always available to call or email for any questions. This getaway is the ultimate oasis for for family and friends to fully unwind. You are tucked away deep in the woods of Canaan. You have both the options to either simply enjoy the peaceful nature this property has to offer, or explore the many activities all around. The home includes a warm fireplace and screened in porch where you can sip a cup of coffee in the morning or meditate. I highly recommend exploring the Berkshires, Tanglewood, Kripula Health Center, and Jacobs Pillow. There are also nearby ski resorts for the adventurous and hiking trails to embrace the beautiful surroundings. Canaan is about 45 minutes from Albany International Airport and 30 minutes from the Hudson Valley Amtrak station. There is no public transportation, however, there are local taxi service providers.
