Self catering Hort del Viver for 4 people
The Hort del Viver rural house was originally an old granary situated in the outskirts of Sant Jordi in the Baix Maestrat district (Castellón). It is built in the centre of 22,000 metres of land, with mainly olive trees. There are also other types of trees such as almonds, carobs, figs, lemon, khakis, pomegranates, laurels, pepper trees, lime trees, a magnificent Judas tree and a lovely palm tree, as well as aromatic plants such as the lemon beebrush and sage, all of which delight those who enjoy the products that have just been picked from the trees. In summer, next to the house, we can enjoy the superb shade offered by some hundred-year-old pine trees. The terrace is an old threshing floor which has been wonderfully preserved; next to this is the VIVER (a Valencian word which means the place where they store the water), from where the farmland gets its name. From the terrace we can see the oldest part of the village and also the sea. If you are searching for peace and quiet, surrounded by nature, then you are sure to find it here.
