Set on a sequestered 8.5-hectare estate with astonishing views to French Island, it is an ideal getaway for both families and small groups of up to 8 guests. Easy-to-get-to and yet remote, this homestead offers the charming bed and breakfast experience that you can have all to yourselves. You can also bring your dogs for a small fee of $20 per day per pet. In addition to the 4 bedrooms and their accompanying en-suites, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to dedicated facilities including a spacious lounge, rumpus/games room, dining room, and kitchenette with cooktop and oven. While here, you’ll have complimentary access to the many onsite amenities including solar-heated pool, tennis court (with equipment), billiards table, table tennis table and BBQ area. An added attraction is the homestead’s associated farm, which you and your guests may feed, and pat the animals. This lovely opportunity provides a farm stay-like quality, enhancing the overall experience and accommodations. Guest Access Your 4-bedroom guest quarters is laid out over a sizeable (one-storey) floor plan. It offers a private entrance, separate from the main doors of the homestead where the hosts reside. Other Things to Note To make your stay all the more memorable and effortless, a scrumptious breakfast will be provided for you and yours daily. After a good night’s sleep, awake to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a batch of bacon and eggs. Served in the dining room of the heritage homestead proper, we invite you to help yourself to a selection of cereals, refreshments, toast, jams, honey, peanut butter or vegemite while we do the cooking for you. And, for those who enjoy a hearty meal to start their day, we provide a selection of scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and sausages. Other things to note: There is ample room for both car and boat parking on the property.
