Some years later the house became home to the local Doctor and the cottage provided the waiting room and dispensary for his patients. Over time both the cottage, the house and other outbuildings fell into a state of disrepair but the house, cottage and stables have now all been lovingly restored. Grafton Cottages are ideally located for walkers, with Blisworth boasting an abundance of beautiful walks. The cottage is within easy walking distance of the canal and Blisworth Marina. There is also a lovely walk along the towpath to the famous Blisworth tunnel and barge trips from Blisworth to Stoke Bruerne (and further afield) are available. Northamptonshire boasts a wealth of stately homes and museums - all within easy reach, as is the quaint town of Towcester and the Silverstone race circuit. A bus stop serving Towcester and/or Northampton is situated right outside the house.
