Welcome to the newly designed cottage at Longmeadow. A tranquil escape from the city hustle of Downtown Chicago. Enjoy the serene setting while close proximity to town amenities, public transit and beautiful trails and parks. A cozy retreat in the wintertime to snuggle up with a great book and hot cocoa. It's also a perfect summer cottage for adventurers looking to take advantage of the beautiful landscape ! Check us out on: (Hidden by Airbnb) ! longmeadowcottage Longmeadow cottage is a newly renovated chic and comfortable stay in the North Shore. Designed by Jen Talbot, it's both modern and charming. Full kitchen appliances make it easy to cook and stay in, or even BBQ outside. Relax inside the charming cottage or outside in the garden. Longmeadow cottage is the guest house of primary residents, Beth and Ryan. Guests will utilize a shared main driveway, but have separate place for parking. In addition to the cottage and outside porch, guests have access to a large garden around the cottage. Just a phone call or a wave away, we live at the primary residence and will ensure the stay is a delightful one. We are also here to give recommendations and tips about lovely Lake Forest. Lake Forest is one of the most beautiful villages on the north shore of Chicago. Old world charm, rich history and modern conveniences make it a destination for those near and far - it has something for everyone. If you are a lover of the outdoors, there are countless activities in the beautiful landscape. More of a history buff? Check out the well known architecture and beautiful town library - a must see for all. There are tons of family friendly activities and parks in just a short drive (or bike) away. Longmeadow cottage is located in between the two train stations of Lake Forest - the closest is 1 mile away (West Lake Forest), 2.3 miles away is town center and the other station (East Lake Forest). Parking is easy, and there are always shared rides available (Uber, etc) We are a family friendly.. well, family! Should you be traveling with little ones, we have extra pack-and-plays, cribs and other items to ensure you don't have to bring your whole house with you when you travel!
