Luxury Self Contained Annex
Open plan self contained annex- Light and airy space comprising of three bedrooms- Bedroom 1-double Bedroom 2- two singles Bedroom 3- mezzanine floor double bed in loft space. and the lounge also has a sofa bed. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom with shower which can be locked off and you can request a second bathroom with bath upon booking. Private use of washing machine, dish washer and well equipped kitchen. Dog and child friendly lots of games and toys provided. Autism friendly. The garden is equipped with an oven and seating and you can request an inflatable hot tub ideal for 4 for an extra £30 paid via (Hidden by Airbnb) before arrival. 24 hours notice needed to allow for optimum temperature. Access is via the side gate and not the main house. The garden is shared but we give as much privacy as possible to the guests in the annex. We also have 4 chickens that are in the garden during the day but can be gated away if preferred. We are living in the main house and welcome guests asking for things. One of our feed backs mentions poor communication as they used Airbnb to Communicate whilst they were in the annex and I was somewhere without a signal but my partner was in. We supply mobile numbers so we can be called anytime during your stay. We are open to requests and are walking several dogs whilst people are out at weddings for the day. I have also been asked to prepare food when guests are going to arrive late which we are very happy to do. We are perfectly located in terms of transport and local attractions in both Nottingham and Derby. We are on several bus routes and can advise about timetables and services. You can catch a direct bus from outside our house to East Midlands Airport. 5 minutes drive from a park and ride (tram) to Nottingham which is fun and stops at both Universities, QMC hospital, Nottingham station and the Theatre Royal. 5 minutes from the M1 motorway ( Junction 25) The Erewash canal is at the end of our street and there is access to the beautiful Erewash trail. it really is countryside 4 minutes walk away. its great for canoeing and walking. There is a park across the road which has a children’s play park, sports court, skate park and outdoor gym. We are opposite two convenience stores, one stocking an impressive range of alcohol! Both open late. There is a high quality sandwich shop and take away. Next door to that is an excellent ice cream parlour which sells delicious ice cream from a farm in Derbyshire (well worth a visit). Both places are family run but are closed on Monday and Tuesday evenings. We are very close to a monolithic stone called the Hemlock Stone around which there are wooded walks and a lovely park space called Bramcote Park. Great for joggers, dog walking and big children’s play park. There’s a great rope swing in the woods. Stapleford town is a 10 minute walk and well worth a visit if you like charity shops and cafes! There is Sainsbury’s local, Iceland, a Co op local and Lidl near by. Aldi is in the process of being built and should open this summer. A short drive away in Ilkeston is a M&S to go, Morrison’s, Tesco and Aldi. There is also a small retail park. We are sandwiched between two independent garden centres- Trowell Garden Centre has the most amazing cheese scone deal!
