This charentaise house in limestone, is a former farmhouse and is situated in a very quiet hamlet of the municipality of Couture in the north of the Charente between Poitiers and Angoulême, about 750 km from Antwerp. Here there is no light and air pollution yet and in the evening you can see thousands of stars. The house has an open kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, gas stove, fridge with freezer, iron and vacuum cleaner. There is a cozy dining and living room with a wood-burning stove which also has a flat-screen TV, DVD and RADIO CD player with Bluetooth. Internet available for free. An oasis where you can relax, far away from the crowds and the daily routine. A piece of nature that lives to the rhythm of the seasons; taking long walks or rides by bike, mountain bike or motorbike are the ideal surroundings for this. Places of interest: Verteuil-sur-charente, Nanteuil-en-vallée, the lakes of Haute Charente, la valle des singes, the caves of Querroy, Oradour-sur-Glane, the many castles and Romanesque churches, Cognac (80 km) Limoges (85 km), La Rochelle (130 km), Bordeaux and St. Emilion (150 km), ... The nearest shops are at 5 km: bakery, butcher, ... A supermarket is 12 km away in the town of Ruffec, where all the amenities are. Ruffec also has a market on Wednesday and Saturday. In the garden, with garden furniture and a parasol, you can eat outside in the summer. A BBQ is also at your disposal for a nice meal and if it gets too hot you can cool off under the old linden tree.
