OWL'S NEST LODGING

Situated on 8 serene acres, Owl's Nest Lodging is a perfect getaway - complete with 2 resident alpacas, Sebastian, Peanut and my dog, Daisy, who thinks she is an alpaca! The Owl's Nest is in a rural setting where you can observe the night sky and on a clear night, the constellation of the stars and planets. Owls are plentiful in the surrounding woods and can be heard at night calling to each other. Altlhough in a rural setting, it is only 4 miles from Shelburne Falls, a vibrant town. Our one bedroom, ground level apartment features a private entrance and bath, small living room, cozy writer's nook and a full, extended eat-in kitchen. Eat in or visit one of our great restaurants minutes away in near-by Shelburne Falls. Guests will also be greeted each morning by two friendly alpacas Peanut and Sebastian, who love fresh apples! Wi-Fi, high speed internet available. I will be present to greet guests and to answer any questions regarding the area, restaurants, things to do while visiting or other inquiries. Please note: The apartment is best suited for two guests. There is an additional charge of $100/night for an extra guest. (The apartment has a double bed suitable for two people and a rollaway bed for an added person) The Owl's Nest is located on 8 beautiful and peaceful acres off of a dirt road. Visits to West County in the early spring for pancakes and our legendary maple syrup, river rafting and zip line tours in the Summer, Fall festivals in October when the trees are burning bright during Fall foliage season and Wintertime skiing at the nearby Berkshire East ski slopes are a few other reasons to stay at the Owl's Nest Lodging. The Owl's Nest is only 4 miles from the charming town of Shelburne Falls, the popular Bridge of Flowers and outstanding galleries. It is also only 35 minutes from the bustling town of Northampton, home of Smith College. Because we are in a rural setting, a car is necessary to go into near-by towns which have grocery stores, restaurants and galleries.
