The Space: Set in central Old Torquay close to sporting grounds and parks, the kids will love the lifestyle of being able to walk or ride their bikes to all the hotspots. Torquay Surf Beach and Cosy Corner front beach are nearby, playgrounds are dotted along the foreshore & the footy oval and Spring Creek are just across the highway. Don’t feel like cooking? The best fish n’ chip shop in town is barely 50m from your front doorstep! Walk 5 minutes to the café precinct, local supermarket or Surf City Plaza – all located less than 500m away. Jump in the car (or nearby public transport) to explore restaurants and boutiques, with beautiful surf beaches and places of interest to discover along The Great Ocean Road. The generous-sized Master bedroom has a Queen size bed and ensuite (shower, vanity, toilet, Tastic heater). Two more bedrooms have a Queen size bed plus bunks and a single trundle bed in each, still with plenty of room for bags and belongings. A large central bathroom has a shower, bath, vanity and separate toilet. The kids will love having ‘brekky’ at the bench, ideally set up with 6 bar stools (high chair also available). An 8-seater dining table offers space for everyone to eat together in the north-facing meals area, adjoining a light-filled, open-plan lounge and kitchen layout that opens directly to a paved courtyard and BBQ area. Well-behaved pets welcome by approval at the time of booking, and subject to a $50 pet fee. The north-facing, fully fenced rear courtyard is neatly paved and totally private, surrounded by mature screening trees that create a lovely green backdrop, perfect for barbecues and outdoor living. The family lounge room has comfortable couches and a TV (a DVD with limited movies available). Ducted gas heating throughout keeps everybody cosy. A second living room has pleasant views of the front lawn and garden and offers more room to play, socialise, read or watch TV, complete with a TV (free to air) and foosball table. Plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more within 30 mins- restaurants, wineries, breweries... Adventure Park is a great day out with the kids - just 10 mins drive away, or 900m walk. Getting Around: Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to parks, sporting grounds, shops and beaches. On and off-street parking available. Buses to and from Ocean Grove/ Barwon Heads / Geelong.  Closest train station 25km away for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.  Ocean Grove is 1 hour 20 mins by car from Melbourne.
