This Luxury and child friendly house (with 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, accommodates 6-16 - cots available) is the ideal place to escape to with family and friends for the perfect break. A dream games room for all ages, outdoor decking with a 120 jet hot tub, crazy golf course, BBQ and patio furniture - you'll love it. Cargo's small village surrounded by the river Eden, about 3 miles northwest of Carlisle. Just a 10min drive to Gretna Green, Scotland & 30min to Penrith, Lake District. This modern house has its own private yard which can facilitate the parking of approximately four cars. It has a stunning circa 40 m² decked area which is surrounded with a balustrade. The decking has a large state-of-the-art 120 jet hot tub with Bluetooth built-in speakers to play the music of your choice. This hot tub offers extra features such as effective LED waterfalls running constantly down the walls of the hot tub and benefits from two lounge and three upright seats. This self-heated hot tub can be used at all times of the year and is covered with a Gazebo to shade you from the sun, rain or wind. The gazebo has the option to close on any of the four sides with either a thick curtain or a thin fly | midge protective curtain or both. We've also installed a number of UV Light fly catchers around the gazebo to make it as fly free as possible. Also on the deck is a coal barbecue where you can enjoy a grilled meal whilst relaxing on the patio chairs and tables. Viewed from the raised decking is a stunning garden with a thick and cosy, high quality artificial grass that has a built in crazy golf course with four holes and various obstacles along with a selection of golf sticks and brightly coloured balls. the garden is a perfect surface to sun bathe and for children of all ages to safely play. Just off the yard, at the entrance of the property, there is a small laundry area with a washing and drying machine, an extra products, a shower room and a cloak area adjacent to the cupboard that stores many of the house amenities. Entering the open plan kitchen, dining and living area, you will be awed by the stunning black-and-white themed room. In this modern granite surface kitchen we've tried to provide as many utensils as we thought may be used whether you are looking to bake, cook, wine and dine. There's an upright fridge freezer, electric fan assisted oven, ceramic hob and a fitted extraction fan as well as other standard kitchen goods. The 16 placed dining room has a expandable dining table that can be shortened if required and is surrounded by itself striking chairs. Of the other side of the dining room is a cosy living area with a modern feature fireplace and sofa chairs all the way around three of the walls making it the perfect room to sit and chill together. The living room also has a large 55 inch wall mounted high definition smart TV with a DVD player. The seven bedrooms are split off into three areas of the house with the Ground Floor: Bedroom 1 - Twin Room with en-suite with a toilet, vanity sink unit, bath and overhead shower Bedroom 2 - Super King with en-suite with a toilet, vanity sink unit, bath and overhead shower Upstairs: Bedroom 3 - 2 Bunk Beds with en-suite with a toilet, vanity sink unit, bath and overhead shower Bedroom 4 - Twin Room with en-suite with a toilet, vanity sink unit, bath and overhead shower Bedroom 5 - Super King with en-suite with a toilet, vanity sink unit, bath and overhead shower Upstairs Small Wing of the Playroom: Bedroom 6 (Super King) Bedroom 7 (Twin) These are slightly smaller rooms and designed to be a small wing on its own. The rooms are accessed via a small lobby with their own private bathroom which boasts a large double the size shower cubicle, vanity unit and toilet. Most beds are zip and link and can be changed from super king size to twins of vice versa (if requested). If your booking is less than 16 guests, we will lockup some of the bedrooms to save us on unnecessary additional cleaning costs. This is a playroom like no other consisting of lots of sofa seating for adults and children and a 55 inch high definition smart television. With so much to offer, this child friendly stagnated room is too hard to describe (see the pictures on this listing). This neighbouring (not the one on this listing) house looks a little unsightly from the front and side and will be like this until the exterior of the property is atended to. You will see the rear of the neighbouring house behind our 6 foot garden fence. When inside our garden or chilling on the decking you won't see any unpleasant sight of the neighbouring house as is shown on the front Street picture. The village is a upper-class village with all the house's being very well looked after. You will also see a picture, just off the side lane, of our entrance gate to the yard and car park. The entrance is narrow but as seen on one of the pictures, not too narrow for cars or vans. The car park is a decent size - Cars or vans can enter and exit without multiple manoeuvres so long as the driver is unhurried. This area also offers so much for all kinds of indoor and outdoor activities. Without needing to drive anywhere, you can take lovely walks along the river Eden and to the neighbouring village of Rockliffe to enjoy a meal or drink. Cargo village itself has a children's park with a play area and park toys. With just a five-minute drive, you can be in Carlisle and can take advantage of the 24-hour Asda or shop till you drop in the city centre. If you like shopping, there’s a nice shopping outlet in Gretna Green just a 10 minutes’ drive away. Blackdyke farm is a popular horse riding school close by, where adults and children can learn how to ride. They also have a fairly decent sized swimming pool which they rent out on private bookings for approximately £20 per hour. With just a 10 to 30 minutes’ drive, you can be in Scotland, the Lake District or visiting the various beaches along the coastal line. Please note the Host has a strict no-parties (hen/stag included) policy. Our units are primarily designed as a second home for the Hosts and their family. It is therefore a property pre-eminently suited to pre-formed groups (which shares characteristics with a single household group) and family booking - as opposed to multiple lets which are not permitted at this property. All guests must agree to avoid engaging in any outdoor activities, of the nature which are liable to cause noise disturbance or a raised noised level, past 9.30pm.
