Welcome to the only BNB located in the center of Montgomery Village. Get that rural feel while being able to walk to restaurants and shops. Close drive to Angry Orchard, Shawangunk Wine Trail, Hiking, U-Pick Farms, Storm King Sculpture Park and many other wonders of the Hudson Valley! The stately "Sparrow" room, the original master bedroom of the Borland House built in 1839, has a king-size bed and private bathroom. You can also enjoy brunch in our award winning restaurant (not included). We are a certified bed & breakfast with an award winning restaurant on the first floor. This room boasts 12 ft ceilings, a king bed, a flat-screen TV /DVD player, a mini fridge and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Three six-foot high windows offer a picturesque view of Village Hall, the library, the historic Presbyterian church, during the summer the band stand with concerts and during the winter the village tree with every branch wrapped in lights. The Home is a beautiful historically registered home in the heart of the charming walking village of Montgomery. The home itself was built in 3 parts, the first in 1790, the mansion portion in 1839 and then the modern artists addition in 2007. In our home we specialize in local foods and have a farm to table menu available to order breakfast from. We also have a culinary class kitchen in the original 1700s kitchen where we teach cooking classes, available upon request. Looking to celebrate a special occasion or just a special food experience? Chef Anna can make a 3 or 5 course local tasting menu for a private dinner. Just message us for details. We love hosting and good food. Join us for relaxation and enjoy a truly unique home boasting over 4500 sq feet. Access to Dining Room, Living Room and beautiful back yard. Wonderful shops, restaurants and museums walking distance. The Borland House (1790) is a Certified Inn in the Hudson Valley focusing on farm-to-table experiences. Optional add-ons include breakfast, cooking class or private dinner. We teach cooking classes $95/person or we can create a private chefs table tasting menu dinner 3-Course for $75/person and 5-Course $100/person, also available upon request. We love hosting and good food. Join us for relaxation and enjoy a truly unique home boasting over 4500 sq feet. We love to make sure guests get everything they need without much intrusion. We are within walking distance of many village eateries, shops and a beautiful wooded walking park near the river. 15 min up the road we have Angry Orchards Tasting room and treehouse, Winding Hills State park with a walk around a lake and we are 20 min from the 50 acres sculpture garden Storm King. We are also surrounded by wineries, breweries and distilleries.
