Comfortable, clean queen bed in a bright corner of a walkout basement with a large window. Bathroom access may be shared when multiple rooms are booked. Includes access to a common living room and kitchen area. Room is located in a walk out basement, removed from the busier main living areas of the house, making it very quiet and private. One other bedroom, as well as the family room (with a couch and a deluxe inflatable mattress) are available for larger parties on request . Room is located immediate to a large family/ kitchen that includes a TV. A separate rear entrance is also found in that same family room. During the summer season, the swimming pool may also be accessed by guests. A fire-pit, grill, yard games, and a swing are also available for guest use. Kitchen area is on the main floor, Internet access, laundry facilities are all open for guest use upon request. Bikes, basketball hoop, and a large open space behind the house are also available for guest use. We are usually at home and are happy to offer help or directions, recommendations if needed. We love company, let us know if we can help you out! Located 2.4 miles from I-80, the Blackstone Restaurant, Shorts Burgers, Dairy Queen, Anytime Fitness, and a Midwest One bank with ATM are all found directly across the street from our home. We are 3.0 very walkable miles from downtown Iowa City, 4.3 miles from Kennick Stadium and Hawkeye Arena. We are exactly a mile from beautiful Scott Park where you can also access the paved Court Hill Trail (pedestrian/bike). 2.1 miles from HyVee grocery store on 1st Ave and Muscatine, and 1.1 miles from HyVee Drug on 1st Ave and Rochester. A BP gas station, Daylight Doughnuts and Hometown Restaurant are all about .75 miles away. Bus lines are found on two main streets within a block of our home. Parking is available on the street (please talk to us about parking protocol when you arrive). Bikes can be made available for use upon request. Since the living, bath and kitchen areas are often shared, please be prepared to clean up after yourself promptly and keep your belongings in your private room.
