Located mere minutes from Riding Mountain National park, one of Canada's national treasures, it's the perfect escape. The Space: Experience the consummate cabin stay with all the comforts of home. The fire pit, fire place, indoor hot tub, ping pong table, foosball and Netflix create opportunities for fun, and the abundance of cozy spots for reading, cooking, and hanging out remind you to kick back and slow down. The 3 season sunroom is perfect for experiencing nature with no bugs. Soak up the beauty and relaxation of Clear Lake country without ever leaving the cabin. We are so happy to share our space with guests who are looking to use it as a retreat to reconnect with family and friends, but please note that this is not a party rental. The Neighborhood: Clear Lake Country is one of the jewels of the Prairies, like a smaller scale Banff (without all the tourists!). The pristine water is perfect for swimming, sailing and fishing. The charming town is filled with trendy cafes, restaurants, shops and ice cream. The Park boasts some of the region's best mountain biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing, and endless opportunities to see wildlife, including the Bison park. Fat bikes, canoes, skis, and paddle boards are all available to rent in town. In winter, Wasagaming is a winter wonderland with skating trails through the woods, and snowmobile trails right near the cabin. Our cabin is located in an established residential neighbourhood a few minutes' drive from the park. This is a quiet neighourhood where most of the neighbours are seniors and it's really important to us to be great neighbours. Getting Around: The cabin is a few minutes' drive or bike ride to Wasagaming, the idyllic townsite in Riding Mountain National Park. It is also is walking distance to Foxtail Cafe. Other Things to Note: Firearms of any kind are not allowed in the house or on the property. This includes but is not limited to pellet guns, air guns, hand rifles and shotguns. We ask guests to familiarize themselves with covid restrictions and to plan their trips accordingly.
