One bedroom sunny single storey flat (32m2) with optional garage. It is located on the 2nd floor of our beautiful listed Haussmann-style building (10 apartments), secured by vidéo monitoring 24h/24h in a renovated shopping avenue 150m from the historic centre, 250m from the Poets' Garden, carrefour market, 850m from the train/bus station (travel time: 7 minutes); 20 minutes to the beaches The apartment includes; -a beautiful living room with two double-glazed windows (overlooking an inner courtyard and the roofs of Béziers), 140x190 sofa bed, dining area, wardrobe, HD TV with digital channels (mainly French), WIFI (optical fiber) -a fully equipped open kitchen (built-in refrigerator with freezer compartment, pyrolysis oven, microwave, ceramic hob 4 fireplaces, filter and capsule coffee maker Bosch Tassimo, toaster, boiler and electric citrus press). -a small bedroom with double-glazed window (overlooking an inner courtyard with a view of the roofs of Béziers), 140x190 bed, wardrobe. -a bathroom with shower cubicle, vanity unit and WC. With the price of your reservation we put at your disposal ; -Household linen, bed linen, towels (treated by a laundry in the strictest respect of hygiene rules). -shower gel, shampoo, cleaning kit and some common products. -Equipment for children under two years of age (on request) such as a cot, high chair, changing table, bathtub etc... We can also offer you, subject to availability; -A parking space (width of the entrance 2m40, depth 4m80, height 1m90) in one of our two private garages located in the ground floor of our building for an extra charge of 7€ per day. Otherwise, we cannot be held responsible for not being able to provide you with a parking space. -The 8 other seasonal apartments in our building, which vary in size from 32 to 85m2. -6 other seasonal apartments in our buildings in Pézenas (25km) with a surface between 20 and 62m2. Throughout your stay, I am available at all times and am very reactive. You can contact me at any time in case of emergency. I also have efficient technicians capable of carrying out any type of intervention. You will live in an apartment or at walking or bike distance (several renters) to all the shops (bakeries, grocery shops, chemists, doctors, Espace Polygone with shopping galleries, restaurants, cinema bowling alleys) and discover Béziers; beautiful shopping streets, allées Paul Riquet, place Jean Jaurès, gardens of Béziers, restaurants, les Halles and its many local producers, the banks of the Canal. Thanks to the proximity of the flat (between 10 and 20 minutes) to the A75 and A9 motorways, the Canal du Midi, and the beaches (Valras and Sérignan) (1 € by bus) you will be able to discover the richness of the Biterrois heritage ; -A trip aboard the barges of the Canal du Midi 6km away, and discover the local gastronomy by crossing the superb Fonséranes Locks with a panoramic view of the Pont Vieux (listed as a historical monument), the Cathedral of Saint Nazaire and the Church of the Madeleine (worth a visit). -Relaxation by the sea or practice several nautical activities in the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean (Valras-Plage, Sérignan, Portiragnes). -Visit of superb historical heritage such as the town of Pézenas, the village of St Guilhem le désert and Roquebrun... and the very beautiful wine estates... -Golf course at the Golf of St Thomas 10 minutes away. -Canoeing from Roquebrun or Cessenon sur Orb, 30kms away. This apartment is only 850m from the shopping centre and the train and bus station (buses every (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes and a 7-minute ride to the bus stop 50m from the apartment). You don't really need a car to discover Béziers but we recommend it to discover the beautiful sites of this beautiful region among which : 1. The city center of Béziers On the eastern banks of the Orb, is dotted with religious buildings and historical monuments. 2. The locks of Fonséranes The Fonséranes locks are a set of eight locks with eight ovoid-shaped basins which constitute the third most visited tourist site in the former Languedoc-Roussillon region. 3. The Saint-Nazaire Cathedral of Béziers Built on the site of an ancient Roman temple, this Gothic style building was erected on a rocky promontory. 4. The arenas of Béziers It is in this historic site that many cultural events are held, including concerts throughout the year. 5. Pézenas Pézenas is a city of Art and History with a beautiful heritage: many private mansions of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, such as the Hotel de Lacoste, the Hotel de Malibran or the Hotel d'Alfonce follow one another. And pretty cobbled streets lined with craft shops lend themselves to strolling. Pézenas also has the peculiarity of having been Molière's place of residence in the 17th century. 6. The castle of Cassan The Château-Abbaye de Cassan is home to a 12th century Romanesque church, a majestic semicircular building, the last remnant of the medieval Priory, and its 18th century monastery building, designed according to the impeccable canons of classical aesthetics, which earned it the name "little Versailles in Languedoc" . 7. The gardens of St Adrien Voted "French Favourite Garden" (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) on France 2, this landscaped garden was built on several levels in a quarry dating from the Middle Ages to offer a refreshing stopover under the sign of magic and serenity. 8. The Canal du Midi You can walk or cycle along the banks, or hire a boat to navigate the canal waters from Béziers to Marseillan or from Béziers to Toulouse. 9. The Thau Lagoon The Thau Lagoon is the largest lagoon in the Languedoc. It is a major attraction for the inhabitants of its superb banks as well as for visitors and has given rise to a series of craft activities including oyster farming. 10. Saint Guilhem le désert A spiritual stopover on the Way to Santiago de Compostela, Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert is a small medieval town and one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. 11. Mourèze Situated in the heart of the Hérault department in the Occitanie region in the south of France, Mourèze is a charming little village of 200 inhabitants which offers you a breathtaking landscape, unique in France! 12. Lake Salagou It is the family destination par excellence since everyone can find what they are looking for among the many activities such as wine tasting of the Causses-et-Veyran estates in the Saint-Chinian country and the many water sports and hiking activities.
