Wake up to a Puerto Rican sunset that bathes your windows with golden lights, enjoy your morning with the smell and taste of freshly brewed Puerto Rican coffee and lay down after sunset to gaze upon the stars with the fresh sea breeze. The Space: This glamping site is mounted on its own private area and has a two car parking lot. The Tepee is equipped with an Air Conditioning unit, 2 electrical outlets and a ceiling light. Everything you need to enjoy a real exclusive glamping experience. The tepee is waterproof and has a queen size mattress inside made of 14" memory foam, nothing short of sleeping in a cloud. A perfect combination of luxury and camping that will have you sleeping to the soothing sound of the ocean breeze as it rustles the palm tree leaves in the terrace. The bathroom is hotel quality, designed for the outdoor luxury experience with a rain shower head, hot water, open roof, large mirror with vanity light and electrical outlet near the sink. The glamping area is located in a second floor terrace on an isolated building in "Finca Corsica", a well know Coconut Palm Plantation in Patillas. In this one of a kind glamping location, you can experience showering under the stars, dreaming on a queen sized air mattress, a view of the sunset on a two person circular pool, a gas powered double stove, wine cooler, microwave, a full size sink, and in the morning you will be brewing your own Puerto Rican coffee in an Italian coffee maker and enjoy it on your own coffee table. The tuscan lights are purposely red, so that white light sensitive marine life in the area, like turtles, do not suffer or lose their way. In adittion to that, red lights benefit your night vision so that you may enjoy the stars without straining your eyes. It is noteworthy to say that our farm does not suffer from any abrupt light contamination, making our land one of the perfect places in Patillas for stargazing. You may access the isolated terrace going up the wooden stairs in front of the designated parking spot and through the locked gate. There is a complementary wine bottle for every reservation done in Finca Corsica. This applies only for a two night minimum experience. Guest Access: This unique Glamping experience shares location with a farm stay experience inside a Coconut Palm Tree plantation called Finca Corsica. The farm has 5 acres, private access to the emerald painted shores of the Caribbean Sea and, if you hike for a few minutes, there is a natural pool protected from the waves next to a natural reserve for your enjoyment. Common areas in the farm include a large pool, gardens and crops, dispersed hammocks between the palm trees, a long track perfect for jogging, paths to discover nature or meditate, birdwatching spaces, and farmers working the land. The Neighborhood: Outside of Finca Corsica, the town of Patillas and all of the nearby towns offer a great variety of restaurants, bars, chinchorros, shops, monuments, natural spaces, attractions and surf beaches that complement your experience. Do not hesitate to ask us about any recommendations for things to do or where to eat. We are also open for any inquiries on voluntary work around the farm if you have any experience or not. Enjoy your stay! Getting Around: From SJU (San Juan, PR) Airport the travel time is about 1:30hr and from PSE (Ponce, PR) is about 1:00hr. Drive taking the highway is recommended. Other Things to Note: HOUSE RULES: Close the Tipi zipper door to avoid getting wet due rain It is prohibited to invite people over if they are not part of the paying guest list, it is also prohibited to throw any parties in the house, common areas or the farm. We expect our staying guests to respect the privacy of the other people staying in the farm’s listings with an appropriate behavior and evading any excessive noise.
