Nestled in the South Downs National Park, Goodwood is 11 miles away and holds the world famous Festival of Speed and Revival along with horse racing at 'Glorious' Goodwood. The historic Fishbourne Roman Palace and the walled city of Chichester are both only 8 miles away. Chichester boasts a stunning cathedral, Festival Theatre (and the annual Chichester Festival that runs from April to November), cinema, excellent shops and a direct train service from London to Victoria (85 minutes). Drive East on the A27 to Arundel Castle, Brighton and Glyndebourne. Drive west to Portsmouth, its Historic Shipyard - home to the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Queen Victoria - and the Gunwharf Quays shopping centre as well as Southampton.
