The Space: 'Alkira’ is one of the newest and most distinctive developments in Ocean Grove, and we are proud to offer visitors the opportunity to stay in this luxury 2-bedroom apartment. The elevated position on the first floor affords picturesque outlooks from the private balcony. Superbly presented and furnished, it is a sophisticated and spotlessly clean place to base yourself on your visit to the coast. Park your car in the private and secure rear car park, and forget about using it again - you won’t need to drive anywhere as everything is at your doorstep. Explore the laidback atmosphere of The Terrace (the main street) by foot... Steps away from café’s, deli’s, boutique shopping and the supermarket, this spot puts you in the heart of it all. A 10-minute stroll to the beach allows for daily walks along the unending shoreline, with surfers enjoying easy access to beach breaks beyond the dunes... whether you are coming to Ocean Grove for a holiday, or require corporate accommodation, this is the newest and best place on offer! Elevated living on the 1st floor of the complex overlooks The Parade. A comfy sofa and armchair offer the perfect place to settle in with a great book or watch movies (wifi, Smart TV with Netflix connectivity and Apple TV). This sunny open plan area epitomises the laid-back lifestyle, with easy flow via sliding doors to the north-facing covered alfresco with a large dining setting and BBQ. The kitchen is equipped with quality Bosch appliances, stylish cabinetry and stone benchtops. Plenty of storage is available, plus well-stocked crockery, cutlery and cookware, tea, instant coffee and some pantry essentials. Limed oak timber flooring throughout the interior living space leads to 100% NZ wool carpet in the bedrooms, and porcelain-tiled bathrooms. Split system heating and cooling provides year-round comfort. The master bedroom is beautifully appointed with a King-size bed, Smart TV with Netflix connectivity and an ensuite (large rain-head shower, stone vanity and toilet). Bedroom 2 is set up with Twin Single beds, however this can be configured as a King size bed if requested at the time of booking. We have done all we can to make your stay as pleasurable as possible, providing hotel quality sheets and bath towels. The Neighborhood: This apartment is located in a safe and friendly neighbourhood, on the main arterial road through Ocean Grove: The Parade (please note there will be traffic noise in the courtyard). Ideal for both the adventurous and those who want to kick back and relax. All within the immediate area: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUPing (Stand Up Paddle), diving, bike riding, running paths, skateboarding and golf. If sitting back and relaxing is more your thing then choose from many of the beautiful surrounding beaches, parklands, cafes, bars, restaurants, spas, shops or designer boutiques to spend your time. - Located approximately 750 metres to the beach. - A 1-2 minute stroll to cafes, supermarket, bars, restaurants and boutique stores. There are great cafes, bars and many restaurants within a few minutes’ walk on The Terrace, plus boutiques, clothing, shoes, swimwear, books, homewares and much more. Ocean Grove has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks along the beachfront. Getting Around: Our apartment is within easy walking/riding distance to parks and the beach, with shops, cafes and a supermarket within steps of the front door. Off-street parking for one car is available in a single designated undercover carpark. Closest train station 25km away (Geelong station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne. Ocean Grove is 1 hour 25 mins by car from Melbourne. Other Things to Note: *Off-street parking for one car is available in a single designated undercover carpark.
