The Loons Nest Lodge at Silver Lake - Lakeview

Loons Nest Lodge is located on Silver Lake, in Lee Maine. Nestled in a cove there’s the calming sound of the babbling brook. Here you can find a peaceful place to “get away from it all.” Enjoy a book in a hammock. With unlimited outdoor activities available to the surrounding area, the lodge makes a perfect location for the recreation enthusiast. This space includes very comfy king size bed with bunks that include a full and single accommodation. The Lodge’s great location makes it an ideal spot for outdoor recreation. We have kayaks, paddle boards for our guests use. Nestled in a great cove for fishing year round. Loons Nest is a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is our favorite meal, we offer healthy fresh homemade choices with flexible serving times. There are 2 entrances, one private by way of outside stairs private to your room and the second by way of the first floor entry through the lodge. Looking forward to being available but giving you your space as well. Nature, Quiet. The town of Lee is 5 minutes away, walking distance, where there is a gas station, ATM, Raymonds convenience store and restaurant, Harris's seasonal offerings and the newly Post DD214 MRE Smoked and BBQ at the "Home on the Grange. Rich in history, "Home on the Grange" established in 1840 where you might also catch a variety of concerts, clogging, yoga, "The StrumDingers" or the "Dragon Fly Instruments". Mt. Jefferson has skiing and tubing available during the winter. Local boat launch and public beach minutes away. Numerous lakes, Lee has 10 and nearby Lincoln has 13, to explore and great year round fishing. There is no public transportation but exploring Lee is just a short walk or drive if preferred. Great photo opts for the picture taking enthusiast. Over a 1,000 miles of trails year round. Lake/brook frontage for fishing or photography opportunities. Hiking/snowmobile access. We also have 2 very friendly dogs so your pets would also be welcome with appropriate arrangements.
