Exclusive & rustic house: Wide view on Lake Iseo

Our 'Casa Iseo' is located in Tavernola Bergamasca, directly on Lake Iseo, located between Lake Garda and Lake Como. Casa Iseo is 100 meters higher than the lake level, so that from our large terrace (70 square meters, equipped with garden furniture and BBQ) you have a breathtaking unobstructed view over Lake Iseo and the world-famous Monte Isola (largest island in a lake, 9 km perimeter, no cars are allowed). You also have a first-class view of the islands of Isola di Loreto and Isola di San Paolo (which is owned by the famous Beretta family). The area around the lake has no mass tourism, which is a relief if you compare it with lakes, such as Lake Garda and Lake Como. If you drive around the lake, you are around 70 km on the bike or in the car and you will encounter the most beautiful places and nature. And discover the real Italian life! In 2016 we had a 'first-class' view of the world-famous artwork 'Floating Piers': a temporary artwork by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, consisting of 70,000 square meters of yellow fabric, supported by a modular floating dock system of 226,000 high-density polyethylene cubes . We bought the house, which is almost 40 years old, in October 2017 and completely renovated it in 2018. Everything was then renewed: electricity, water pipes, boiler, stoves, floors, walls, windows, doors, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms. All items in the house are newly purchased. There is a Samsung smart TV available. Internet / wifi is available for free and 4G also works fine. Streaming from, for example, your Ziggo app or YouTube is possible, because a Google Chromecast is connected to the TV. There is a good Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The village of Tavernola has 2,500 inhabitants and all basic amenities can be found in the center: bakers, butcher, bars, supermarkets, restaurants, hairdresser, shops, doctor and pharmacy. The center and the nearest beach are less than 5 minutes from our place. Numerous (sports) activities are possible around our place: cycling, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, kayaking, sailing and in winter also skiing (45 minutes drive) are common activities. Shopping and visiting cities within easy reach. Franciacorta Outlet Center (20km) has 140 stores with the most famous brands and real outlet prices. The indoor shopping center Elnoss near Brescia is also great, hundreds of shops, a 45-minute drive away. As well as Orio Center, hundreds of covered shops near Bergamo airport. You can fly cheaply with Ryanair to Bergamo Orio al Serio (30 km from our house). Tickets from €9.99 (Eindhoven Airport). Orio al Serio airport is only a half hour drive from our house! We are Dutch owners, but have local help from an Italian young lady (Claudia) who speaks basic English. She is the first point of contact for all questions or wishes. We are, of course, always immediately available if there is something that you cannot solve with Claudia. LOOK OUT: -Our house is not suitable for the disabled and is not equipped for babies (but there is a high chair). -You reach the house via a staircase (2 x 20 steps) and the house itself has two floors that you reach via a staircase, so that may not be pleasant if you have very limited mobility. -The road to our house is 700 meters long and on average 15% steep. It is a tarmac road where passing is easy (but people who are afraid to drive up a hill/mountain should not book).
