Coming to Granville for business? Visiting children at Denison University or a family member at Kendal? Our ground-level, private apartment is located 30 minutes from Columbus, 15 minutes from New Albany, 5 minutes by car from Granville and even closer to the Kendal Retirement Community. This is a ground-level studio apartment in our home, located on an acre-sized, manicured property in a well-established and quiet subdivision in Licking County, approximately 1 mile from the Granville village limits. Our lower level apartment space features a private patio entry, off-street parking, completely furnished sitting/sleeping room with wi-fi, separate dining and kitchen area, and full bath with shower, kitchenette, sleeping for up to four, and access to a Japanese-style sitting garden. In addition, our guests are welcome to sit under our large shade tree in our backyard, stroll the vegetable garden, commune with the hens, or browse books in our Little Free Library. Spring Valley Nature Preserve hiking trails are easily accessed by foot from our home. Enjoy off-street parking, ground-level private entrance and enclosed patio. (No stairs, though the living space is not easily wheelchair accessible). Though we want you to have a private stay, we reside upstairs, so we are available if you need assistance. We are located in a quiet neighborhood of homes with acre-sized lots. Closed cul de sacs, no through traffic, making walking a pleasure. Spring Valley Nature Preserve, containing walking trails, can be accessed by foot through the neighborhood from our home. Though we are located within a mile of the village, there are no sidewalks leading into the village. You'll need to bike or drive into Granville: We're only 7-10 minutes from Newark; 15 minutes from New Albany; 30 minutes from Worthington; and 40 minutes from the heart of Columbus. One double and two twin beds comfortably sleeps four guests. Daily breakfast items are provided in the kitchenette for overnight and weekend guests. Guests are invited to supply their own food (self-cater) for stays lasting beyond the weekend.
