It is perfect for individuals traveling solo, families both small and large, couples seeking a romantic getaway or small groups seeking to enjoy New York City in style, comfort, and ease. This home was not altered to accommodate guests, it was MADE for guest to provide an experience like none other than being in your own home. Early this year I decided that I wanted to provide guests a very comfortable and elegant stay when they are away from home. So, every wall of every room was torn down, reshaped, and some moved around to build a custom place for guests to have the optimal stay! From the moment you walk up the stairs, you are introduced to beautiful newly installed hardwood flooring and welcomed by an open space into the the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all new stainless steel appliances and beautiful cabinets and countertop. Each piece of the house was put into place with great planning. The living room is very cozy and equipped with (Hidden by Airbnb) Home mini speaker and wirelessly controlled lights that you can turn on with either your voice or the tip of your fingertips while you lay back and watch Netflix! All rooms and common spaces are Air Conditioned that you will just not want to leave the house. Every bedroom has a closet, iron, iron-board, towels, and extra sheets and pillows. Parking space included. Easy Electronic checkin and checkout process without EVER having to worry about losing keys or worse, carrying them! Although you'll have the entire place to yourself, the bedrooms are equipped with locks if you'd like the additional security for ease of mind when stepping out. I am very communicative with my guests, checkin in digitally to see if anything is needed or even to ask for feedback regarding the stay. I treat all my guests as if they are my first, making sure I exceed expectations. Personally when I am on vacation I prefer minimal contact with hosts, but I adapt to my guests needs and am courteous in either approach. Shoot me a text at 3am and I'm definitely awake to tell you what is place is still open! My place is located in the hearth of Queens, in a booming neighborhood with many shops and restaurants, especially ones open for night owls like myself! Although the area is a great transportation hub and is situated between the two major roads (Roosevelt Ave & Queens Boulevard), the house is on a quieter road, giving you peace and comfort...but walk 2 minutes in any direction when you're exposed to culture you came to see! There are a plethora of ethnic restaurants, bars, and shops. Woodside is a melting pot of so many different ethnic backgrounds, it's truly a great experience--something you may not see directly if staying in the actual city. Just down the block you'll have access to pizza shops bodegas as well as supermarkets that are open until late night (some even at 2am). Forget to pack personal items? Well, there are 24/7 convenience stores walking distance as well. 5-7 minute walk to the 61st Woodside Station where the 7 train can take you to the city. Best route would be 7 train to Queensboro Plaza, and transfer to N/W line into city. Or, you can take the 7 train straight into the city. 61st St station is also an Express Stop, meaning during rush hour, you can take an express 7 train to and from this station! -Also accessible is the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to and from JFK to Penn Station. -Buses available all around if you want to go to nearby malls (Queens Place, Rego Center, and Queens Center Mall), buses to Laguardia and JFK Airport -Private parking space available for a single car, although street parking around the area is abundant! The King beds described in two of the rooms are originally twin beds that can be pulled out to become king beds. No work on your end needs to be done, as they will be set up with appropriate sized sheets to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please make sure that the total number of guests staying reflects correctly with how many people are actually coming. For insurance purposes this is very important, and it is something that will be discussed if the numbers don’t add up correctly. An honest business is the best business :)
