The charming coastal resort of Grange -over - Sands is in the locality along with Holker Hall, Levens Hall and Sizergh Castle (N.T). These properties all boast lovely gardens and interesting houses. All very different from each other. Kate’s Cottage is ideally situated for bird watchers. There are several reserves around Morecambe Bay including Leighton Moss, Foulshaw Moss, Walney Island and Roundsea Wood. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars and see the Ospreys, in the summer. Grizedale Forest is great for families to explore, with its nature trails, miles of cycling paths and chance to Go Ape. For dog walkers, there are plenty of paths to explore from the cottage gate.
