Lots to do in the surrounding area, but most people don't want to leave this beautiful setting. You can really unplug with no WIFI! (Pets are not permitted) Highland Lake is a hidden wonder in NH. Our family has been coming here for decades and are still making wonderful memories! This cabin is at the end of a dead end road so you will have privacy! There is a small outdoor deck and a swimming area. You will have your privacy, but we are available if you have questions. Family camp since 1940. Your hosts reside in the main house and your cottage is far enough away for privacy but close enough if you need any assistance. You must have your own car. We have had many years here making wonderful memories. Now you have an opportunity to create your own! This is truly a magical place. Once you experience it, you will want to return each year. Hiking trails are numerous as well as back roads to bicycle. 10 to 12 Bass tournaments a year (license required to fish). We are here to assist you, but this is your private space. Car needed Highland Lake is one of the prime lakes in NH and one of the cleanest for swimming. New Hampshire 9% rentals tax under License 62163 is included in the cleaning fee.
