There are other local courses within an hour’s drive including the championship Gleneagles resort. Take a cruise at Loch Katrine on the historic steam boat ‘SS Sir Walter Scott’, with various events including firework displays and pirate cruises or cycle along loch side, ideal for families without traffic. Explore Stirling just under an hour’s drive and there is a wealth of historic and cultural attractions as well as good shopping, bars and restaurants. For younger guests the Wool Centre in Aberfoyle and Blair Drummond Safari Park have much to keep them amused.
