The location is great for exploring Falmouth city centre and local area. Katarina September 2020 The most amazing location and the views are beautiful from every room. So nice to be able to walk to all the great restaurants, through the town and to the beaches. We’ve all had a wonderful week and would definitely book again. Great hosts who have gone above and beyond. We ate out or picked up food most days and couldn’t fault any of it. Gorgeous beaches and the ferry port to St Mawe’s is only a short walk away too. Would recommend for a day trip. Perfect family holiday, don’t feel the need to go abroad after being here. Our two young girls loved it as much as our in-laws. Phoebe September 2020 Great location and glorious views over the harbour. House had everything you need, beds comfortable, lots of loos and showers, good wifi, nice modern kitchen. No complaints at all. Ian August 2020 Spacious, clean, beautiful views across the harbour. In the centre of town. Great communication from the host. Andy August 2020 Great hospitality, excellent location within walking distance to a huge selection of great restaurants and shops, stunning views of the harbour and beaches a short drive. We fell in love and are already planning our next stay. Candice __________________ August 2019 A cute house with loads of charm in an unbelievable location. It's clear Kevin and Sophia care greatly about their home and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our whole family had a great stay, and used their two parking spots located right there out on the quay. You can tell a lot of thought and love went into their house: clever touches like windows that opened both ways allowed you to catch either the land or the sea breeze, as well as fun touches like a porthole covering a cabinet, or an old pull chain toilet added to the charm. It is an easy walk (10 feet?!) to all the cafes and shops in Falmouth, and we all really enjoyed our stay. Joe, Texas May19 Amazing experience Flat beautifully finished and appointed. Location was ideal. Views exciting. We will come back, with the family! Miles Bunder, June 2018 Lovely house in the middle of Falmouth Had a great long weekend. House very well placed in Falmouth so we could enjoy the quay side and all the great amenities on offer. House very light and with great views and very well equiped. Roger Morgan April 2018 Hi Kevin & Sophia, We have had the best time staying in your lovely home with our family again, so much so we may do it again next year. The new caretaker/ cleaner had left the house beautifully clean and the added touch of a vase of lovely roses was so nice, which we were able to enjoy all week. Thank you once again Sarah. Private booking December 2017 Excellent Christmas in Falmouth A fantastic stay over Christmas - couldn´t be better! Warm house with fireplace, right on the water, and with the town with shops, cafe´s and pubs right at hand. Sven. Private booking. November 2017 A great place to stay This was by far the best house we have rented this year! It was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and in a good location right by the quay. The owners were really helpful providing information about the house, parking facility and about the local area. All our sub-contractors loved it and had nothing but good things to say about their 5 week stay here Lesley. OwnersDirect October 2017 The Old Quay House has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Falmouth. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect..in easy walking distance of bars, shops, beaches and the train station. We received excellent and helpful communication from the owners beforehand about the house, town and directions to the quay, with parking arrangements. The 'welcome pack' along with wine and flowers were appreciated on our arrival. Thank you. Julie. Very comfortable accommodation Susan September 2016 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and must say the house lived up to expectations: good accommodation, nice open living space and a terrific location for fishing, swimming, shopping and general exploring. Derek and Gillian August 2016 This is a very well located property on the waterfront with beautiful views across the harbour. It is located along a narrow cobbled street with pubs on the other side. Parking was very easy with the permits provided and we always had a space despite high season. The house is well equipped. Carole. June 2016 We had a great time. Half of our party had previously lived in Falmouth for three years whilst studying so they enjoyed going back to visit while the rest of us enjoyed what Cornwall had to offer. The house is everything we could have asked for. I am keen to come back again. Thomas. June 2016 Thank you so much for affording us the opportunity to stay in your wonderful home last week. We found the house to be ideally situated and having the parking spaces available, fantastic. We only needed to use the car once during the week. Katie May 2016 We found everything as we would at home, fully equipment kitchen, clean throughout and fantastic location on the Quay, couldn’t ask for more, a little more than just another rental. Ian, Lucy and family. September 2015 We had a really enjoyable time at the Old Quay House. It is in a lovely position and very well equipped. You can look down into the sea from the living room and bedroom windows or sit back and watch the boats coming and going. There are some excellent restaurants on the doorstep and the shops are just at the end of the road. The car parking space is a real bonus. We had everything we needed for our stay and were very comfortable. Sue. September 2015 Owner brilliant with communication and also very helpful caretaker. Ideal location in centre of Falmouth with car permit so no worries about parking. Amazing views of boats and water from every window. Enjoyed the spacious house and just being in Falmouth. Would definitely return In the future if we are able. Thanks for a warm welcome. Thanks. Angela
