Set on the owner’s working sheep and cattle estate this is an ideal location for guests who enjoy walking or cycling, as there are numerous established public footpaths and walks that lead from the grounds and out into the countryside. There is so much to do in the surrounding area for all ages. Adjacent to Lochore Meadows Country Park there is a great selection of activities to fill your day including watersports, golf, fishing and bird watching. Loch Leven has regular boat trips in the summer out to Loch Leven Castle, and the RSPB Vane Farm Nature Reserve is a great day out for families and nature lovers with nature trails and hides so you can watch the ospreys and other local wildlife. The county town of Kinross is a good place for you to pick up supplies and has a selection of supermarkets, local independent quality shops, cafés, delis, restaurants and local pubs, as well as a swimming pool. For days at the seaside, the sandy beaches of the East Neuk of Fife are within a short drive and the Fife Coastal Path takes you to secluded coves, little fishing villages, and award-winning sandy beaches with plenty of places to visit and find refreshment.
