Onion Creek Farm West room, bath & kitchenette

Onion Creek Farm has hosted guests for 7 years. The guesthouse, with private entrance, occupies the top floor of our home. This lisiting is for one private room with shared kitchenette and bath. We do not serve breakfast. Enjoy the quiet of our farm, the woods and views from the porch. We are one mile from Ames. WiFi. Kitchenette has a small frig, microwave, toaster and coffee pot, dishes etc. Room has large south facing windows overlooking Onion Creek forest. Hiking trails along Onion Creek and ISU woods are 10 minutes away. We have an attic fan but no A/C. Guesthouse uses a composting toilets. The $75 includes use of the one private bedroom with one double bed and one single bed and a bath and kitchenette shared with the East room. No pets or smoking please. Guest access is from spacious front porch separate from our home entrance. Our guest house is separate, no interaction is required other than check in. We enjoy the piece and quiet of our farm and our access to natural areas. Everyone gets a good night's sleep here. Kids enjoy seeing our laying hens. There is a bus stop 1&1/3 miles away. We are located NW of Ames, 3 miles from the North side of ISU campus. No pets and no smoking please. We have an attic fan but no A/C. We use composting toilets.
