The market town of Aylsham is 6 miles from where the miniature steam Bure Valley Railway runs to Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads. For children there is Wroxham Barns, with its small animal farm, Banham Zoo (20 miles) or BeWILDerwood at Horning (7 miles) which is a woodland adventure playground. The traditional seaside town of Cromer with its sandy beach, promenade, pier with live entertainment, RNLI working lifeboat station and museum, cliff top golf course, shops, cafes, and restaurants is a 30-minute drive. The National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg halls and gardens is a short drive. Fishing is available locally. Shop 4 miles, pub, and restaurant 400 yards.
