We're in a 100 year old house by Alberni Inlet. Enjoy famous Stamp Falls Park, hike the Alberni Inlet Trail or book a fishing Charter with Captain Charleton (if available). Cathedral Grove, and great restaurants are also prime reasons to visit. We're also conveniently close to Ucluelet/Tofino, (Ucluelet~102 km). Our home has a wonderful view & full breakfast included. There are stairs, but a view of Mount Arrowsmith through one window and a side view of the Alberni Inlet. Please let us know if you have any food allergies. Guests have access to the living area of home, front and back balcony, & Koi Pond. The sleeping area is on the second floor of our 3 story home and a large bathroom with shower is shared with one other room. Milly and I socialize as much or little as our guests desire, with a preference for more rather than less. We love the fact that we are located 25 minutes from beautiful Stamp Falls Park, 100 km from Ucluelet, and are surrounded by outdoor wilderness stretching up and down the west coast of Vancouver Island, while living 10 minutes or less away from some of the best restaurants on Vancouver Island. The fishing is great too. There is local bus service in Port Alberni and we are a block from the nearest bus-stop, however, if you arrive without your own transportation, contact us to arrange for a ride. "Tofino Bus" offers transport from Vancouver, Victoria or Nanaimo to Port Alberni and other Island destinations. The public transit system is not ideal in terms of frequency. We have a cat, who is friendly but not overly friendly and is, of course, somewhat self-centred and a 13 year old labradoodle who loves attention and walks.
