Gite-Apartment in the beautiful Creuse

Moulin des Forges Gites, Camping & Glamping is set on 4 acres of peaceful woodland, lakes and streams in the beautiful Creuse countryside. It is an idyllic spot to relax, unwind as well as being a great location to set off and explore all the Creuse has to offer. The complex consists of 3 self-catering gites able to accommodate 2-18 guests, 2 glamping tents and camping pitches. The Mill House Apartment Gite is a 2 bedroom ( 1 King bed and twin room) 1 bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet and basin. The property has its own private entrance front door and is accessed on the side of the Mill House. There is small entrance hall with coat hooks, a shoe rack and stairs up to the accommodation. An open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. The sofa is a pull out double bed to allow for larger groups to holiday together. Smart TV with connection to applications such as Netflix, YouTube. The satellite TV provided in this property is French. There is access to English channels via the TV applications. We welcome our guests to take advantage of the lovely scenery and walk around the Mill ponds, sit by the waterfall, relax in the tranquil and natural setting. Moulin des Forges also has a heated swimming pool and fully equipped games room, with a snooker table, dart board, games console, books and dvds. Please note for larger families and groups- this Gite can be booked with the Mill House Gite and connected internally to accommodate a group up to 18! All our gites are recently renovated and equipped with the following : Kitchen with cooking utensils, crockery, oven , hob & microwave Refrigerator with built in freezer section Dishwasher Clothes airer Log burner (1 bag of logs supplied daily, extra charges at 5EURO a bag) Electric heating (charges during Winter season include heating) TV with 25 French Satellite channels (not canal +) TV has Netflix sign-in capability so you can sign into your account Hairdryer Bluetooth speaker Bed linen and towels (Towels are not provided for use at swimming pool) Outdoor seating and BBQ Travel cot available (request at time of booking) High chair (request at time of booking) WIFI available within the property. Shared washing machine facilities (Charges apply) Shared ironing facilities located with the washing machine. For bookings with dogs , we charge 25€ per dog per stay. Parking is on site and is free to guests. In the Summer months guests are able to drive their vehicle to the door of the gite to unload and load only. We ask that when driving on the site that guests are We live onsite and are available to our guests between 9-6pm and outside those hours for emergencies . Moulin des Forges is set on the outskirts of the pretty village of Moutier Malcard which has a very well stocked shop and friendly bar/tabac both of which are easily accessible by car being only 1.8km away. We are located within the area known as the 3 lakes. Le Bourg-d’Hem and Anzeme are both beautiful picturesque lakes for swimming, boating and walking. They are within a 20 minute drive of the Mill. Further afield are the lakes of Eguzon, Siddiiailles and Vassiviere. Moulin des Forges is 33km away from Gueret or 23km away from La Chatre. Both towns have many lovely restaurants and places to visit as well as several large supermarkets. We ask for a 200 Euro security deposit upon arrival. This is refunded upon check-out minus any charges is any. We are happy to accommodate pets for your stay, we must be notified at the time of booking. An extra charge of 25 EURO is applicable per pet. Bed linen and towels are provided for guests during their stay, towels provided are not for use by the swimming pool- we ask guests to bring their own. We supply our guests with a few dishwasher tablets, some washing up liquid and a couple of toilet rolls, fire lighters and matches- as it is self-catering accommodation we remind our guests that they will need to shop for supplies for their stay.
