The spa town of Buxton, famous for its warm springs, offers a host of eateries, shops and a museum; and do take advantage of the Buxton Opera House. Alton Towers, the High Peak Cycle Trail, the market town of Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are all among the many things you can do in the region.
