Lovely waterfront home on Shawnigan Lake. This beauty sits on a sun drenched acre with a large grassy clearing and a wooded area that offers a wonderful country feel. Guests enjoy their own beach and dock. The location is perfect for visitors to Shawnigan Village, Shawnigan Lake School, St John's Academy or the local wineries. We are wild animal lovers! Guests will see many friendly and adorable wild critters on the property, however, due to allergies we are strictly a pet free home. FULL KITCHEN - Just bring food! DINING - Table for 6 plus stools at the counter. LIVING ROOM - Shaw BlueSky, electric fireplace. BEDROOMS/BEDDING - brand new beds and bedding, 2 queen up and 2 twin XL down. Master bedroom with en suite & Shaw BlueSky. PATIO/BBQ - Full propane tank for your use HIGH SPEED WIFI - serves entire property ELECTRIC FIREPLACE SEPTIC - As with most lake properties we are on septic - please be mindful about what is being flushed - only toilet paper please! WATER FILTER - We have just recently installed a WHOLE HOME water filtration system with UV PROTECTION but if you’d prefer to bring your own water feel free to do so. WILDLIFE - There are a few local deer roaming the property and sometimes they will set off the motion detectors on the garage (they are enjoying the apples). There is also a family of wild turkeys roaming too, you may see them or not. They're quite a novelty in Shawnigan Lake, be prepared to stop as they move at their own pace. Strictly No Smoking - No Pets. Entire House We can be available by phone for questions about property, length of stay and general info. We are close to Shawnigan Lake private school as well as the new St John's Academy. There are coffee shops, groceries, a pharmacy, gas station and lots of eateries all within walking distance of our place. The Shawnigan Lake Museum is in the village and offers interesting collections and displays of years gone by. Lots of wonderful wineries can be found in the surrounding areas of Shawnigan, Cobble Hill and Cowichan Bay. Weekly and monthly rates available - please send a request There are lots of parking options on the property, A quick walk to the village and guests will find bus routes to north and southern destinations. Guests must provide names and ages of all guests on booking. Due to Covid and safety for all our guests we can currently only accommodate 4 guests. Please be aware that if all beds are slept in we will assume that there were additional guests and charge accordingly.
