Ecological cottage in southern Gironde "les glycines". Located in the town of Saint Sève (33190), in the region of entre deux mers in southern Gironde, the gîte is an old independent farmhouse renovated in 2011. The health and well-being of the occupants, the least impact on the environment and respect for the existing building were our main objectives for the rehabilitation of this 18th century farm which thus brought together ecological approach, self-construction and traditional know-how . The cottage is voluntarily devoid of certain equipment (microwave oven, wifi ...) harmful to health. The site includes 3 hectares of land partly cultivated in organic farming (market gardening, orchard, vines). It is often described by our hosts as a true HAVEN OF PEACE. The farm building located on a dominant point in southern exposure includes: upstairs three bedrooms with 2 sleeping places (6 people), including a double and 2 modular rooms in twin or double (2 beds of 90 which can come together to make only one), plus a sleeping extra on the mezzanine and possibility of cot. On the ground floor, an equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge / freezer, gas stove and oven, wood stove, coffee maker, kettle, etc.), a living / dining room (25 m² with TV / DVD, stereo CD, etc.) bathroom (bath, washing machine ...) and WC. The exteriors have a private garden with two wooden terraces, a parking lot and a lean-to where you will find barbecue, bikes, garden furniture, racket games, etc ... everything to have a good time with family or friends !!! You can enjoy the 3 hectares of land, its fruits, flowers and vegetables (depending on the season) and Julien (the market gardener) will gladly prepare your basket of freshly harvested vegetables. Many shops and activities nearby (biking, horse, pony, donkeys, GR walking / hiking, swimming, airfield, canoeing, individual or group yoga classes, etc.).
