Pet Friendly Lake District Holiday Cottage

Helvellyn cottage is a lakeland stone cottage which was originally built for the workers at Greenside mine above Glenridding. It is located on the bridlepath that leads to the old mine and Helvellyn, in an elevated position above the village of Glenridding and Ullswater. The cottage sleeps 4 people and retains many original features as well as benefiting from what you'd come to expect for a "home from home", including a wood burning stove, full central heating, sofas and much more besides. There is a secure garden alongside the cottage with superb views of the fells and down towards the lake. There are literally hundreds of walks from the door, including a short downhill one of some 500 yards to the nearest pub! Pets are very welcome. Free WiFi. Please note changeover is on a Friday.
