Welcome! Our cabin sleeps 1 or 2 people and is heated for the winter season. Inside you will find a double-sized bed, a dresser, a small cabinet, a vintage TV, and a coffee pot. Outside you will find a charcoal BBQ and a campfire pit for your cooking needs. We supply firewood for the campfire. Please bring your own charcoal for the BBQ. Welcome HUNTERS and SNOWMOBILERS - Bring along your ATVs or sleds. We are open for the colder months!! Heated cabin on the snowmobile trail!! The cabin is lakefront - enjoy beautiful, picturesque views of snowy sunsets or snow on the branches of the trees across the lake. There is a groomed snowmobile trail at the end of our driveway providing an easy access point to other trails for snowmobilers. This trail can also be used as a hiking or snowshoeing trail - just be mindful of snowmobilers. If you are an avid snowshoer, we suggest bringing your own. Unfortunately with this being busy trapping season we can’t supply vintage snowshoes at this time. Dogs are welcome but MUST be friendly with other dogs! We have a fenced-in yard and my very friendly golden retriever roams the property. Please do not bring your dog if it is not kind to others. This area (Haliburton Highlands) is the "Geocaching Capital of Canada". There are many geocaches in the area to find, so bring your GPS. :) There is a charcoal BBQ and firepit available for cooking. Please bring your own charcoal and charcoal starter for the BBQ. Firewood is provided. There are outdoor chairs surrounding the firepit for your comfort. The cabin has electricity and is heated. No wifi. The outhouse is not heated. Parking is free and provided on-site. Hi everyone, i just wanted to say , for the people that have been here multiple times you would have met both my dogs. For ones that have never been here, i had two dogs. My beloved Chelsea who was 14 years old ,she passed. It breaks my heart. She took a stroke on 25 of September with totally immobilized her. I waited until Monday the 27th hoping for a change for the better. She wasn’t suffering. She was put down on the 27th (Website hidden by Airbnb) She was my campfire girl and loved everyone, dogs included. My Daisy girl is still moping. I just wanted to share (Website hidden by Airbnb) My husband (Bill) and I live on the same property, but we provide our guests with space and privacy. My husband or I am mostly available if needed. Our dog, Daisy, shares the property as well and stays within the same fenced-in yard area. She is a golden retriever and is super friendly towards people and other dogs. Tory Hill is a quiet hamlet with no stores, but we have a park. You can travel to the nearby towns of Gooderham or Wilberforce (~10 minute drive away) for all your shopping needs. Haliburton is the largest town nearby and is approximately 30 minutes away. You will have your own private parking spot on-site. Unless you go to a local restaurant, you will be cooking for yourself on an open fire or charcoal BBQ - the best way to enjoy a hot dog or sausage! There are solar lights around the property, but bringing a flashlight for extra lighting wouldn't hurt. Coffee and tea are provided. This is an LGBTQ+ inclusive space. We welcome all people to The Rustic Little Cabin in Frog Hollow!
