The waterview cottage is an upper unit residence with a private entrance, steps from a Municipal dock located at Lookabout Bay. The Lakehouse cottage is located at a quiet family campground across the road from Lake Huron. Spend some time on the lake in the canoe and kayak provided for our guests. House Rules No smoking/No vaping No parties or events Check-in time is 4PM - 9PM Check out by 10AM No pets No Fireworks No cannabis use on property Due to COVID-19 the pool, playground and horse shoe pits are closed for the season **DUE TO COVID-19 guests are required to bring their own towels, face cloths, bed linens, pillows and blankets. Kitchen linens are provided. Must leave cottage as you found it - Cleaning Supplies provided. The Cottage is a cozy, open concept home located across the road from the Lake Huron shoreline. The Lakehouse has two bedrooms with three queen beds in total. Complete with a full kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and a beautiful sunset deck overlooking the warm waters of Lake Huron. The Lakehouse is located at the entrance of a quiet family campground. There is a set of stairs to the cottage entrance. The camp office is located on the ground floor. Wifi and satellite TV is available at the Lakehouse. Bring your boat and launch it at the free boat launch across the road from the Lakehouse. Spend some time on Lake Huron in the canoe or kayak provided for guests at the Lakehouse. Rest and relax, have a family game of badminton or a campfire in the evening at your fire pit on the grassy area in front overlooking Lake Huron. Guests are welcome to enjoy the camp pool, horse shoe pits and playground. (Due to COVID-19 pool, horse shoe pits and playground areas are closed this season) We live directly across the road from the cottage and are happy to help at any time! If House Rules are not obeyed guests will be asked to leave premises. Lookabout Bay is a quiet cottage community surrounded by acres of cedar forest. The area is a great home base for those looking to explore the Bruce! Just 10 minutes from the village of Lion's Head, Georgian Bay and the Bruce Trail, 30 minutes from the Bruce Peninsula National Park and The Grotto, and 35 minutes from the town of Tobermory. Or, stay close to home to swim, fish and enjoy the world famous Lake Huron sunsets from your sunset deck. Pool is open July to September. Subject to change due to COVID-19.
