Beautiful house in the heart of Evanston, IL

Lovely house on a large lot with fire pit, within walking distance to bustling downtown (7 minute walk to CTA + Metra). Five bedrooms with 3.5 baths including entire floor for master. Enjoy a steam shower in the master bath. Modern, bright kitchen, hardwood floors, large family room, fully finished lower level with 5th bedroom & full bath, large laundry room on 2nd floor. Outdoor space includes large front porch & deck off of living room that leads to large patio with dining area & sitting area Gas fireplace in living room is run by remote control. Fireplace in bedroom 2 is not functional, do not use. We would love and appreciate if food and drinks could stay in the kitchen and dining area, our furniture and area rugs are newish :) All parts of house are accessible except for basement utility room. Also the garage will be locked and not accessible We will be available to reach via our cell phone. Oh, the things you can do in downtown Evanston! Amazing restaurants, beautiful houses to see on your way and only about a 20 min walk to the beach on Lake Michigan (1.1 miles away). We absolutely love it here, especially in the spring summer and fall! We moved to this house in the summer of 2018, and it still feels like we're in the "honeymoon" phase, so much to do, the beautiful beaches that feel like you're on the ocean, the parks, the quaint houses, beautiful trees throughout the town, the bustling downtown, etc etc, hope you enjoy it as much as us :) We have parking in driveway by the garage off of alley. Free street parking is also available, please refer to parking restrictions on street cleaning days (2 times per month). Some things to note about our home... ~Absolutely no children, we have too many uncarpeted stairs and our house is no longer child or infant proof. ~This is our primary residence, meaning my husband and 4 kids (actually have 5, can't forget him, but he has since moved out) live here the majority of our lives. Please respect our personal items, we have never had a problem with that thus far, always have had very respectful guests :) We have animals, one dog and one cat, of course they will not be here during your stay. They have never had an "accident" in our home thankfully. ~Absolutely no pets, we may have pets, but your pets may smell our pets and proclaim their territory, and then our pets will declare their territory after returning and then we have a vicious cycle on our hands, and a house that smells foul, so please, no pets :) Like I said, we have never had our dog or cat have an "accident" in the house and we are grateful for that and don't want to chance it :) ~Also, for those that have allergic reactions to cat dander, please consider that cat dander can have an effect on people with allergies to cats even when animal is not present... ~Fishtanks will be gone as of summer 2022, not exactly sure when that is exactly but my son is motivated to bring them to his place (his hobby). Please ask if we still have them here if it is a concern of yours. ~Our home is not wheelchair or ADA accessible. ~Free on site parking located right of the garage off of alley as well as free street parking, however please see street parking restrictions for 3rd Tuesday and 3rd Wednesday of the month, March 1st - December 15.
