Lake Life in beautiful updated Lake House

My house is located on beautiful Lake Mahopac in Putnam County, just 50 miles north of NYC and a 12 minute car ride (cab) from Metro North Railroad. There is plenty to do for all, including swimming, boating (rental at Marina). My house is walking distance to town and is convenient to many shops and restaurants. This is lake living at its best and is a perfect retreat from the hectic pace and heat of NYC. My house is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. With stunning lake views, this house is spacious yet incredibly cozy and warm. Fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom create a beautiful setting. Sit in the jacuzzi on the patio while taking in the spectacular views of gorgeous Lake Mahopac. This house has a lot to offer and is a great getaway. This is my main house so it is fully stocked and all linens, bath towels, beach towels and Spa towels are provided. I also provide a basket of toiletries for each bedroom to cover you for those essentials you might have forgotten. Lots to do including swimming and boating in Lake Mahopac, local sites like apple orchards and plenty of spots to go for a hike. You really need a car to get around, although the house is waking distance to town. This is my full time house that I rent on occasion when I will not be using it, so there are personal effects in most dressers and closets.
