Lorondale Homestead has been held in the same farming family since being built in 1904. This rustic farm house sits in the middle of the farm with its nearest neighbour being over a kilometre away. The homestead boasts large bedrooms and spacious living areas and comfortably sleeps 4 couples with maximum beds for 11. Some of the bedding configurations can be changed to suit your preference and pets are allowed by negotiation. There are two large living rooms, one of which is set up as a dining room with seating for 12 and the other as a lounge room with couches and a sunny window seat. There is also a cosy library/sitting room with a wide selection of books to read and some of the family and farming history available. Situated between the popular wine regions of Clare and Barossa Valley, and only an hour from Adelaide, the homestead is secluded enough for a relaxing stay and close enough for day visits to wineries or cycling trips. We have provided hand towels, bath mats, tea towels, and some blankets, and pillows for your stay. Full bedding including sheets and towels can be provided for an extra charge. We are on Facebook and Instagram. Search Lorondale Homestead if you would like to follow us
