***SNOW and WINTER STORM ⛈ This location sometimes requires 4x4 and chairs to access! Wake up in the forest in a cozy 1939 Vintage Cabin with the sound of running water, nestled between beautiful old growth trees. High wood beamed ceilings & a spectacular rock fireplace transport you to another time. You will truly feel you have escaped to a piece of mountain heaven. Wrap around deck with hot tub, next to the creek, will guarantee relaxation. You will have the entire property. Private use of cabin. It has a kitchen, bath, living room, fireplace, sleeping loft, and central heat. Large driveway. Creek on property. Outdoor shower. Hot Tub. Outdoor table for 4. Outdoor couch if weather permits. 2 redwood decks. BBQ. You will have use of: Entire cabin Wrap around deck Outdoor Hot Tub on the creek Outdoor shower Outdoor propane fire pit and seating BBQ Dining table on deck Creek in yard Driveway parking for up to 4 cars Fire wood Clean towels and sheets I will usually be here to greet you, and give you the lay of the land. If your arrival is at a time I am offsight. I'll always be available by phone for any questions or concerns. Please feel free to call at anytime day or night if you need anything or I need to repair any items during your stay. This property is located at 6000ft in the San Bernardino National Forest. It is off the main road, on a rustic dirt road, on a year round freshwater creek. It is in a mountain neighborhood with large lots and offers privacy as the back of the property meet up to the national forest. There is one across the street neighbor who is the best neighbor on earth, please be courteous and don't play loud music after 9pm. You may see bears, deer, raccoons, or bob cats. Always keep all food and trash inside. You will need a 4 wheel drive and chains possibly is there is lots of snow. Big Falls waterfall .4 mile hike up the creek. Vivian Creek Trailhead .5 mi. up the mountain and Momyer Creek Trail 1.5 mi. down the mountain. Plenty of hiking right from the cabin. Mountain biking also a possibility on the dirt roads near. Also great fire roads close off of the 38. Big Bear is only a 40 minute drive where there are plenty of restaurants, stores, ski slopes, and lake activities. Cute apple orchard town of Oak Glen 30 minutes in the other direction for apple picking or cider pressing. You will drive thru Redlands 30 minutes from here, it offers many great breweries, Ritual, Escape, and Hangar 24 are all worth a visit. You will need 4x4 and chains if the snow is deep in the winter. In the tiny town of Forest Falls, 5 min drive from here, you will find Elkhorn General Store and El Mexicano Mexican Restaurant, both close early :). There is one across the street neighbor who is the best neighbor on earth, please be courteous and don't play loud music after 9pm. Basic price is for 2 guest, each additional guest adds $20 per day per guest to cover added linens, cleaning, and spa maintenance
