A delightful country cottage within easy reach of York and Harrogate . The cottage has retained many of its original features and has wooden beams and a fireplace with a wood burning stove in the living room , 1 comfortable double bedroom with a modern well equipt kitchen. The bathroom has a bath with a shower. There is ample parking in the courtyard outside the cottage. The living room is large enough to take an airbed for additional guests. Skipbridge Farm is a small family run business situated between York and Harrogate , We think that it is ideal for holiday makers and people wanting to get away for a short break. We are very happy to welcome guests to stay here and to enjoy the facilities . We have seven holiday cottages available at Skipbridge Farm which are great for short stays or longer breaks. We have a range of holiday cottages here , they can be booked for over night or for short breaks No 8 The Granary is a three bedroomed house , it has two comfortable double bedrooms and a single room , the house can sleep 5 people . The house has a large lounge and a rear garden which overlooks paddock land , its great for meeting and greeting the resident animals which include Dave the Llama and Bob the pony . This cottage has a 8 person hot tub. We are close to York which has lots of great activities for adults and children , Children love York Dungeons, York Castle Museum and the Yorvik Centre. York is also famous for it's Ghost walks after dark. There are local park and ride facilities which means accessing York is easy. As an added attraction we have a variety of animals who live here on the farm these include our Ponies, Llama's and Alpaca's
