Lake Beseck cottage

Very comfortable 1 bedroom cottage 200 yards from the lake. Large bathroom with shower, heated floors and laundry. Full kitchen, living room with sofa and TV and wifi. Bedroom has a long double Tempurpedic bed. Finished porch with dining table/ chairs and a desk/work area. Microwave, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, Patio with gas grill, popcorn air popper, rice and vegetable steamer. WIFI printer. Pack and play upon request. Washer and dryer, hair dryer. For more information about the lake and dog park and trails; (Website hidden by Airbnb) We are close to Powder Ridge ski area and Lyman Orchard. Our guests have access to the whole house and yard except our personal walk in closets and garage. 2 parking spaces in our driveway are available for guests. We provide a beach pass for our guests to access the beach.. We are not close by when our guests are staying at the cottage but provide our cellphone number so they are free to contact us any time. Our best friend lives a couple of houses up the street and will come over to help out when needed. This used to be a private summer cottage colony and has slowly evolved in to a year round neighborhood. 10 minutes from Wesleyan University. Within two miles of Powder Ridge Ski area and four golf courses. There is a nice dog park 3 blocks away. 200 yards to the beach. COME VISIT THE MIDDLEFIELD DOG PARK! To get there from Rte 66 (691), turn onto Rte 147 south at Guida's Restaurant. One mile on 147 make a right onto Lake Road at the Lakeside Market (gas station). Lake road turns into Algonquin Road as you start to climb the hill. At the stop sign make a left onto Mattabeseck Road and follow it almost to the end. The parking area is inside the metal gates just past the Roman statues. After parking, follow the yellow trail, bearing left at the trail merge.
