Carefully re-furbished throughout, it makes a really homely cottage from which to explore not only Middleham, with its fine castle and selection of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms around the historic square, but also the surrounding countryside. Leyburn with a wider selection of individual country style shops is 3 miles. The Forbidden Corner is a short drive and will appeal to children and adults alike. Shop and pub 50 yards.
