BCycle electric bike rental $20/mo, .2 miles to bikes; on bike paths. Close bus access as well. Your suite is a 220 sq ft addition to the original home. There is a back entrance through the shared kitchen. Your suite resembles a studio apartment: bedroom with super comfy bed, flatscreen, reclining loveseat & super cozy gas fireplace. Bath with shower in suite. Dorm fridge, coffeepot, microwave & ice bucket in your suite. Local Antennae, Apple TV & Hulu available. Hotel linens & towels provided, access to laundry facilities and fully stocked kitchen. Space is dog friendly. Prada is my 35 pound hound dog who is quiet in the house - not so much outside. Fenced in yard. On street parking in front of home with alternate side parking 11/15 - 4/15. During snow emergencies off street parking offered with schedule coordination. The suite is a 220 sq ft addition onto the original home. To gain access there is a key coded back entrance into the house. You will go through the shared kitchen to your locked suite. You will have access to your private suite which includes a bath with shower, the kitchen and laundry facilities. Feel free to use the fenced in yard for dog play (please pick up). Room range will be from $55 to $275 depending on reservation. I've been hosting for 4 years now. I have welcomed both domestic and international travelers for contract work, relocation and tourists alike. As we will be sharing the kitchen and laundry there will be interaction. I am here to make your stay both safe and comfortable. I love meeting new people & being social. A nice conversation is always enjoyable. My home will be welcoming, clean and quiet for you to enjoy your stay. You are welcome to bring a pet (no cats - allergies) with prior approval. I can pretty much assure you that Prada (my dog) will be in the kitchen at times, she is very friendly and will make you feel like a cherished guest. Very active residential neighborhood within a block of Olbrich Park on Lake Monona which is a 90 acre dog friendly (leashed) park. There is a Biergarten with sunset views of the Capitol. The Capitol City Trail and the Lake Monona Loop (plowed bike trails) are just to the right of the driveway. Olbrich Botanical gardens is a splendid walk right down the bike path & it is free. Due to Covid there are dining restrictions and less activities. Multiple delivery options. What makes this listing unique is the proximity to a beautiful lake and large park smack in the middle of Madison. I like to think of it as the best of both worlds. As most of our social activities are outside at this time you cannot beat this neighborhood. My home is on the Near Eastside. Easy access to Atwood Ave., Willy St. and downtown. Located on Capitol City and Lake Monona Loop (paved) bike trails you may access all of Madison on two wheels. Bus stop is 2 blocks away and will take you down Atwood Ave. into Willy St. and right to the Capitol Square. Just 5 min from Dane County Airport. Parking - alternate side street parking from 11/15 - 4/15. During snow emergencies we will need to coordinate schedules and offstreet parking will be available. Pets - allowed with prior approval. Well behaved dogs do not need to be kennelled but I can provide one if needed. Prada is my 35 pound designer hound dog and is uber friendly and loves to play. Sorry, no cats due to allergies.
