This apartment is located on a quiet side street just a 5 minute walk to the downtown area. Stowe, Sugarbush, Mt. Ellen, Mad River Glen and Bolton ski areas are all within 1/2 hour drive. There are also many amazing hiking, mtn biking and cross country skiing opportunities. At 675 square feet, guests have plenty of space to enjoy. Two equal sized bedrooms feature comfortable queen size mattresses with large closets and handcrafted dressers, nightstands and lamps. 3 big windows each make these rooms bright and airy. The open concept cooking/dining and living area are on the ground floor and flooded with morning light. With new kitchen appliances, a high-top dining table that seats four and a social area great for relaxing after the days adventures or preparing for new ones! The bathroom features a large walk-in shower, beautiful tile floor and pedestal sink. The apartment has its own heating system for the guess ultimate comfort. Guests have exclusive use of private apartment with separate entrance right next to reserved off street parking for two cars. We're more than happy to answer any questions about local attractions and events, or suggest interesting things to do. We've supplied a number of guide books of the area to help with planning your adventures. While we recognize some guests want to keep to themselves, we will be sharing the driveway and some interaction can't be avoided. We're located on a quiet side street in the village yet centrally located. Sidewalks and streetlights make getting around town on foot very easy. We most enjoy the short walk to the historic train station, now a café/visitor center or the farmers market with free concerts in the warmer months. And, of course, five minutes to our favorite restaurants/pubs is pretty nice too ! Just 1 minute from I89 exit 11 and 2 minutes (or a 5 minute walk) to the Amtrak train station where public bus transportation is also available.
