Cosy Cottage with Courtyard Garden near Villefranche de Rouergue

Our cosy cottage is ideally situated on the Lot Valley/Aveyron borders, only 10 minutes walk from our local village of Martiel and 10 minutes drive from the medieval town of Villefranche de Rouergue. In a tranquil location on the edge of a peaceful hamlet, Les Fontaines is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage has its own pretty courtyard garden with tinkling fountain, BBQ area and patio furniture for the all important al fresco dining. We are surrounded in every direction with some of France's most beautiful villages: St. Cirq Lapopie, Najac, Belcastel, St. Antonin Noble Val to name just a few of them. There are many fine restaurants in the area, buzzing local markets and festivals. Brocantes (Antique Fairs) take place regularly throughout the summer months, as do jazz, rock and pop concerts. River cruises, kayaking, horse riding and all manner of outdoor activities are all available within easy reach. Free WIFI is available for guests. Please note we do live on site but remain discreet at all times.
